(1) Access cover to hydraulic tank filler cap and breaker relief valve

Stop the engine.
Open access cover (1) of the protective guard on the right-hand side of the machine. Reach past hydraulic oil tank filler cap (3) in order to locate the button on breaker relief valve (4). Press the button on the breaker relief valve in order to relieve any hydraulic oil tank pressure.
Remove access cover (2) at the front of the protective guard on the right-hand side of the machine. The steering and implement pilot hydraulic system oil filter assembly can be serviced through this opening.
Remove the housing of steering and implement pilot hydraulic system oil filter (5) by loosening the housing with a suitable wrench at the bottom of the housing. A strap type wrench may also be used to loosen the filter housing.
