A 138-7573 Link Bracket 2 Start By:
Separate the transmission and the torque converter. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, " Transmission and Torqe Converter - Seperate".
Remove the bypass valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, " Bypass Valve - Remove and Install".
Remove the modulating valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, " Modulating Valve (Torque Converter Lockup Clutch) - Remove and Install".Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.

Attach Tooling (A) and a suitable lifting device to No. 1 rotating clutch and plate (1). The weight of No. 1 rotating clutch and plate (1) is approximately 159 kg (350 lb). Remove bolts (2) and (3). Remove No. 1 rotating clutch and plate (1) .
