Information:

1. Open the hood on the machine.2. Remove six bolts (2) and the washers that hold upper fan guard (1) to the radiator shroud. Remove the upper fan guard.
Do not damage the radiator core when the adapter and fan assembly (4) is removed from the machine or placed against the radiator core.
3. Remove nuts (3) and washers that hold the fan assembly and adapter (4) to the hub. Remove the fan assembly and adapter, or carefully place it against the radiator core. 4. Loosen alternator adjusting bolt (5) and alternator mounting bolt (6). Move the alternator toward the engine to release the tension on the vee-belts. Remove vee-belts (7) from the machine. Install the vee-belts in the reverse order of removal. Adjust the tension on the vee belts. See "Belts" in the Operation & Maintenance Manual.
