DECELERATOR CONTROL GROUP 9S6614 - Caterpillar

1. Remove the cotter pins and pins that connect rods (3) to the winch transmission.2. Remove bolts (2) and winch transmission control (1). 3. Put the control in position on bracket (4) and install the bolts that hold it.4. Put the shifting rods in position on the winch transmission and install pins (5) and the cotter pins that hold pins (5) in place.Disassemble Winch Transmission Control
start by: a) remove winch transmission control1. Remove the rubber boot that is fastened to the shifting lever and control housing. 2. Remove the cotter pin that holds cover (1) in place. Remove cover (1), the spring and cover (2). 3. Remove ring and packing (3) from the shifting lever.4. Remove pin (4) from the control housing. 5. Remove snap ring (7) that holds the upper socket (5) in place.6. Remove the upper socket (5), lever (6) and the lower socket.7. Remove plate (8) and the two springs and two balls under plate (8). 8. Remove pin (11) and shifting shafts (9).9. Remove the gate (10).Assemble Winch Transmission Control
1. Put the gate (1) in position on the control housing and install the nuts that hold it. 2. Install the shifting shafts (2) in the control housing. 3. Install the pin (4) in the bottom of the control housing.4. Install the two balls (5) and two springs (3) in the top of the control housing. Install the plate that holds the springs (3) and balls (5) in place. 5. Install the lower socket (6) in the control housing with the notch in lower socket in alignment with the hole in the control housing. 6. Install the lever (7) in the control housing with the hole in lever (7) in alignment with the hole in the control housing. Install the pin that holds lever (7) in place.7. Install the upper socket (8) in the control housing with the notch in the upper socket in alignment with the pin in the control housing. Install the snap ring (9) that holds the upper socket (8) in place.8. Install the ring (10) on lever (7) with the larger outside diameter toward the control housing as shown. Install packing (11) as shown. 9. Install cover (14), spring (12) and cover (13) on the lever. Install the cotter pin that holds the cover (13) in place.10. Install the rubber boot on the control housing. Tighten the clamps that hold the rubber boot to the control housing and shifting lever.end by: a) install winch transmission control
