Click on "Connection" on the Menu Bar.
Select "Connect" from the drop-down menu.Your PC will be connected to the System. Your PC will receive the System Telemetry.

Once you are Connected, Click over the "Enter Password" (13) in the Menu Bar.The "Enter User Name/Password" window will open. Refer to illustration 9.
Enter your username.
Enter your password.
Click on "OK" Button.After the password has been entered, the menu bar will change.The Menu bar will contain a "Calibrate" Option.
On the "Op. Params." menu, select "OP Group 11 "MMU Serial Number"". This will give you a submenu. Then Select "Load Cell Serial Number" from the submenu.
Select "Load Cell Serial Number". This will give you an "Request Operating Parameter Change" screen.

Enter the serial number of the load cell that is located on the manufacturer's data sheet.Note: The data sheet is enclosed with the assembly (lower bearing cartridge).Note: Enter a numeric value. Do not use the number that is shown in Illustration 10. The number in Illustration 10 is an example.

Select "Op. Group 5: Model Index" from the "Op. Params." menu. Then, select "Load Cell Calibration Constant" from the "Model Index" submenu.
Select "Load Cell" on the "Calibrate" menu. This will bring up the "Load Cell Calibration" window.
Select "View Status". "View Status" will bring up a small window that provides a text message that indicates the current status of the process (calibration). Initially, this screen will show that the minimum has not been calibrated.
Select "Use Defaults".

Verify that the "Minimum" button in the window (calibration) is highlighted. If the button is not highlighted, click on the button.

Disconnect the 16-pin connector for the lower wiring harness (flywheel) from the interface board (flywheel).

Connect the jumper that is labelled "MIN".

Click the "OK" button on the calibration screen.
Verify that the "Maximum" button on the calibration screen is highlighted. If the button is not highlighted, click on the button. The window (status) will indicate that the Maximum has not been calibrated.

Disconnect the jumper that is labelled "MIN".
Connect the jumper that is labelled "MAX".

Click the "OK" button on the calibration screen. The window (status) will indicate that the calibration values have not been saved.
Click the "Save" button on the calibration screen.Note: At the end of Step 37, two errors (temperature) will be announced on the screen. These errors will be cleared when the wiring harness is reconnected in Step 38.
Reconnect the wiring harness to the flywheel interface board.Calibration is complete.Calibration Check
A proper calibration can be verified by using the voltage measurements and a calculator.
Measure the voltage between pins "16" and "4" on the flywheel interface board and record the voltage. This value will be "Ve".
Measure the voltage between pins "11" and "12" on the flywheel interface board and record the voltage. This value will be "VL". This is completed only with Control Power.

Calculate the force (bottom bearing) that is expected by using the equation in Illustration 18.
