Separate the front frame and the rear frame. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Front Frame and Rear Frame - Separate".

Remove one of the top mounting bolts (1) from the housing for the oscillation bearing. Note: This will permit use of a lifting device to aid removal of the housing for the oscillation bearing.

Install a lifting sling and Tooling (A) into bolt hole (1), as shown.
Remove the remaining five bolts (2) which fasten the housing for the oscillation bearing to the machine. Use the lifting sling to lower the housing for the oscillation bearing to the ground.

Remove bolt (3) which retains pin assembly (4) .
Remove pin assembly (4) .
Remove the steering frame lock pin (5) .

Attach a hoist and a lifting sling to hitch assembly (6), as shown. The weight of hitch assembly (6) is 32 kg (71 lb).
Remove four bolts (8) which fasten the articulation pivot (7) to the machine and remove articulation pivot (7) .Note: Bolts (8) can be accessed through an opening on the bottom of the rear frame. Repeat Step 8 for the upper articulation pivot.
Use a hoist to remove hitch assembly (6) from the machine.
