1. Put identification on oil lines (1), (2) and (4). Disconnect drain oil line (1), controlled (regulated) oil line (2) and supply oil line (4) from pressure reducing valve (3).2. Remove the pressure reducing valve. 3. Connect oil lines (1), for the drain, and (4), supply oil, to the pressure reducing valve. The passages on the valve have identification.4. Connect tooling (A) to the controlled (regulated) oil passage (5) of the pressure reducing valve.5. Start the engine and operate at low idle. Turn setscrew (6) until the controlled (regulated) oil pressure is 50 5 PSI (3.52 0.35 kg/cm2) (345 35 kPa). Stop the engine.6. Remove tooling (A) and connect oil line (2) to the pressure reducing valve. 7. Put the valve in position and install bolts (7) that hold the valve in place.Disassemble And Assemble Pressure Reducing Valve
start by:a) remove pressure reducing valve 1. Remove nut (1), two washers, setscrew, ball, plug (2), end, spring, end, ball, valve and spring from the valve body for the pressure reducing valve.2. Be sure the O-ring seal is in place on plug (2). Put clean oil on the O-ring seal. 3. Install spring (7), valve (8), ball (9), end (3), spring (4), end (10), ball (11), plug (2), setscrew (5), washers (6) and nut (1) in the valve body. 4. Make an adjustment to setscrew (5) until dimension (X) is 4.84 in. (12.3 cm). Tighten locknut (11) to hold the setscrew in place.end by:a) install pressure reducing valve
