The correct information follows.An improved pre-lubrication process is recommended for the installation of the 299-2456299-2499 Pump Drive Gears. The improved pre-lubrication will manage the initial break-in of the spline.During the assembly of the pumps to the integral pump drive, sparingly apply an assembly lubricant that will break down under heat and the presence of transmission oil. The grease should only be used in order to manage the initial break-in of the spline. The transmission lubrication system will supply oil in order to lubricate and flush the spline during operation.Petro-Gel 369-9451 Grease or Lubriplate assembly lube grease "No. 105" are both suitable for this application.The improved pre-lubrication procedure is adaptable to all of the above listed machines.
