Removal Procedure
Fuel leaked or spilled onto hot surfaces or electrical components can cause a fire.Turn the disconnect switch OFF when draining and/or removing any fuel system components.
Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the disassembly procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.
Drain the fuel from the fuel tank into a suitable container for storage or disposal.

Attach a suitable lifting device to fuel tank (1). The weight of fuel tank (1) is approximately 295 kg (650 lb).

Remove bolts (2) and (3) and position guard (4) aside.

Remove bolts (8) and reposition accumulator (5). Turn fuel valve (6) to the CLOSE position and disconnect hose assembly (7).

Disconnect harness assembly (9) and hose assembly (10) .

Use the access holes in the fender in order to remove bolts (12) in order to remove fuel tank (1) .
