Which Generate This Code:The Electronic Control Module (ECM) detects a fault with the engine's oil pressure. The ECM detects the following faults:
The engine has been running for more than ten seconds.
The oil pressure is below the trip point for the event code. Refer to Table 1 for a list of trip points for low oil pressure.
Diagnostic code 100-3 Engine Oil Pressure open/short to +batt is not active.
Diagnostic code 100-4 Engine Oil Pressure short to ground is not active.Note: This event code represents an event. This does not represent an electronic system fault.
