The fuel cap is located on the rear of the machine. The cap is on the left side of the machine.

Lift lever (2) in order to remove the fuel tank filler cap. Turn the lever counterclockwise until the lever stops. Lift the cap straight up in order to remove the cap.
Rotate the fuel cap clockwise until three tabs (1) drop into the slots in the adapter. Rotate lever (2) clockwise until the lever stops. Lower lever (2) over lock tab (3) .
Replace the strainer in the fuel cap after every six months.
In order to replace the strainer, remove two screws that secure strainer (4) to the fuel cap. Remove strainer (4) , valve (5) , and the gaskets.
Install new components in the reverse order. Install the fuel cap.
