A - Bostik Pure Nickel Anti-Seize Compound(1) 1
(1) Do not replace with a copper base anti-seize.
Keep all parts clean from contaminants.Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

Clean the flange of injector group (16) and install a new gasket onto the aligning holes. Position injector group (16) and install the bolts. Note: Note the orientation of the injector from the disassembly procedure.
Apply Tooling (A) to temperature sensors (17). Install temperature sensors (17).
Tighten temperature sensor group (17) to a torque of 45 5 N m (33 4 lb ft). Connect harness assembly (15).
Install insulation assembly (20). Connect air and diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) lines (18) and (19).

Install plate (13) on the electrical enclosure group.
Install fluid containment plate (14) on the electrical enclosure group.

Apply Tooling (A) to the threads of NOx sensor group (12) and NOx sensor group (11). Install NOx sensor group (12) and NOx sensor group (11). Tighten NOx sensor group (12) and NOx sensor group (11) to a torque of 50 10 N m (37 7 lb ft) and install the cover plate. Repeat for the other side. Note: Apply Tooling (A) only to the threads of NOx sensor probe, ensuring no compound touches the ceramic sensor element. Apply anti-seize compound to mounting boss threads will lead to failure of the ceramic sensor element during assembly.
Connect tube assemblies (9a), (9b), and (9c) for pressure sensor group (10). Connect the right side tube assemblies for pressure sensor group (10). Note: Check for any misalignments and install the clip for (9a) noted from the disassembly procedure.
Connect the harness assembly to pressure sensor group (10).

Install cover group (8), a new gasket, and the bolts. Repeat for the other side.

Install insulation assembly (7). Repeat for the other side.
Illustration 6 g02585158Note: Ensure the catalyst (5) is flush against the wall for creating a proper seal.
Position catalyst (6) in retainer assemblies (4). Install retainer assemblies (4) and bolts (3). Repeat for the other side.
Tighten strap assembly (5) to a torque of 10 1.0 N m (89 9 lb in).

Install cover group (2), a new gasket, and the bolts.
