Open the hood for the engine compartment.
Shut off the engine.
Release all the pressure in the hydraulic system. For information on the correct procedure to release all the hydraulic oil pressure, refer to the reference at the beginning of the test.

(1) Case drain line
Disconnect the case drain line (1) from the elbow. Plug case drain line (1) .
Attach a hose to the elbow. Place the open end of the hose into a suitable container for measuring the fluid.
