1. Position a suitable floor jack and wood block under front crankcase guard (2), as shown.2. Remove the six bolts and washers that hold the front crankcase guard to the front frame.3. While supporting the front crankcase guard use the floor jack to carefully lower it to the ground. The weight of front crankcase guard (2) is 31 kg (68 lb).4. Repeat Steps 1 and 2 for rear crankcase guard (1).5. While supporting the rear crankcase guard use the floor jack to carefully lower it to the ground. The weight of rear crankcase guard (2) is 21 kg (46 lb).Installation Procedure
1. Put rear crankcase guard (1) on a wood block and suitable floor jack and place in position under the engine compartment.2. While supporting the crankcase guard use the floor jack to carefully lift it into position. The weight of rear crankcase guard (1) is 21 kg (46 lb).3. Install the six bolts and washers that hold the rear crankcase guard to the front frame. 4. Put front crankcase guard (2) on a wood block and suitable floor jack and place in position under the engine compartment.5. While supporting the crankcase guard use the floor jack to carefully lift it into position. The weight of front crankcase guard (2) is 31 kg (68 lb).6. Install the six bolts and washers that hold the front crankcase guard to the front frame. End By:a. Separate the steering frame lock.
