No Clearance (7)This warning is located near the articulated hitch on both sides of the machine.

Crushing Hazard! Stay back a safe distance. There is no clearance for a person in this area when the machine turns. Failure to follow these instructions could cause serious injury or death.
Crushing Hazard(8)This warning is located on the left side of the machine near the steering frame lock.

Connect the steering frame lock between front and rear frames before lifting, transporting, or servicing the machine in the articulation area.Disconnect the steering lock and secure before resuming operation.

This machine is equipped with a Caterpillar Product Link communication device. When electric/electronic detonators are used, this communication device should be deactivated within 12 m (40 ft) of a blast site, or within the distance mandated under applicable legal requirements. Failure to do so could cause interference with blasting operations and result in serious injury or death.
Down Hill Travel (11)This warning is positioned in the cab on the left-hand post.

This wheel loader is not equipped with a retarder and should not be used for high speed, downgrade hauling operations. If the service brakes are overused when traveling downhill, the service brakes may overheat and fail which could result in serious injury or death. When traveling downhill, downshift to the proper gear and use engine braking to prevent excessive speed buildup and excessive use of the service brakes. When using the service brakes for downhill travel, always use the right brake pedal.
Parking Brake (12)This warning is located on the forward facing non-engine end frame plate below the front axle drive shaft.

Before you manually release the parking brake, be sure to stop the engine and block the wheels in order to prevent machine movement, which could result in personal injury.Before disassembling the brake, relieve the brake oil pressure by repeatedly applying the brakes until the brake oil pressure gauge indicates zero.Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Parking Brake Manual Release" for the proper procedure.
