If equipped, know how to use the machine fire suppression system.The recommended mounting location for the fire extinguisher is on the left side of the rear frame. Do not weld the ROPS/FOPS in order to install the fire extinguisher. Also, do not drill holes in the ROPS/FOPS in order to mount the fire extinguisher.

If more than one fire extinguisher is required, the recommended place to mount a second fire extinguisher is on the right side of the front frame, behind the fender.For more information on installing fire extinguishers refer to Special Instruction, "Procedure to Install Fire Extinguisher Mounting Brackets to Underground Articulated Trucks and Load Haul Dumps".
