Remove the front bottom guard.
Turn the quick disconnect switch to the OFF position.
Remove the belt. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Belt - Inspect/Replace".

Loosen bolts (1). Use Tooling (A) to rotate the engine in order to remove bolts (1) .Note: Leave one bolt (1) with enough thread engagement in order to support spacer (2), damper assembly (3), pulley (4), and adapter (5) to the engine.
Position spacer (2) and damper assembly (3) against one remaining bolt (1). Install a suitable lifting device to adapter (5). The weight of spacer (2), damper assembly (3), pulley (4), and adapter (5) is approximately 32 kg (70 lb). Remove remaining bolt (1), spacer (2), and damper (3) .
Remove pulley (4) and adapter (5) .Installation Procedure
Install crankshaft vibration damper and pulley (4) in the reverse order of removal .
