Removal Procedure
Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.

Remove bolts (2), guard (1), cover (3), and the gasket.

Disconnect harness assembly (4). Remove bolts (6) and modulating valve (5).

Remove nut (7), washer (8), and coil assembly (9) .
Remove adapter (10) and O-ring seal (11) .Installation Procedure
Install modulating valve (5) in the reverse order of removal.
Tighten adapter (10) to a torque of 14 4 N m (124 35 lb in).
Tighten nut (7) to a torque of 13 2 N m (115 18 lb in).
Tighten bolts (6) to a torque of 30 4 N m (22 3 lb ft).
