Fit the control handle (23) and the neutral bracket (24) between the ends of the spring (25) .
Install the control spool assembly (13) to the neutral start switch cover (11). Install the spacer (10) over the spool (13). Install the control handle assembly (23, 24, 25) to the spool. Tighten the nut to a torque of 7 to 9 N m (5.2 to 6.6 lb ft). The control handle must be in the original position.
Align the notch in the cam (20) with the hole in the neutral start switch cover (11). Install the neutral start switch (4). Use the neutral start switch in order to hold the cam in place. Note: An 8S-4743 Bolt can be used to hold the cam in place. In order to use the bolt, the end of the bolt must be ground to a taper that will fit the detent in the cam.
Install the cover gasket (18) on the mounting plate (15) .
Install the switch cover assembly for the neutral start to the control sleeve. Install the switch cover assembly for the neutral start to the pump housing. Fasten the cover with the two flanged screws (8). Tighten the screws to a torque of 6 to 8 N m (4.4 to 5.9 lb ft). Check the control handle for free movement. Torque the screws again if the handle binds.

Install the linkage (2) between the front pump and the rear pump. Check the movement of the linkage for any binding.
Refill the hydraulic system. Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, KEBU6729 for the refill capacity.Adjust the Switch and the Linkage
Personal injury or death can result from sudden machine movement.The machine can move suddenly in the forward or reverse direction when adjustments are made to the drive system.To avoid machine movement, make sure that the machine is completely raised off of the ground and properly supported.Make sure that the area is clear of personnel and equipment while testing and adjusting.

Place the machine on jack stands and support the machine at four points. Place one jack stand on each side of the yoke at the front of the machine. Place one jack stand on each side of the machine at the rear of the machine under the frame. Use tooling (A) in order to support the machine.
Make sure that the machine is set to low idle before starting the machine.
