Removal Procedure

Rear of the seat
Disconnect electrical connector (1) .

Remove bolts (3), the nuts and the washers that secure joystick control (2) to the seat. Move the joystick control aside.

Left side of the seat
Remove bolts (4) and the washers that secure the seat to the floor of the cab.
With the assistance of a second person, remove the seat from the machine. The weight of the seat is approximately 30 kg (66 lb).Installation Procedure
Clean all parts and inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new Caterpillar parts for replacement.
With the assistance of a second person, install the seat onto the machine. The weight of the seat is approximately 30 kg (66 lb).

Install bolts (4) and the washers that secure the seat to the floor of the cab.

Position the joystick control to the seat. Install bolts (3), the nuts and the washers that secure joystick control (2) to the seat.

Connect electrical connector (1) .
