2. Remove four nuts (1) and two U-bolts (2) that hold muffler assembly (5) to the mounting bracket.3. Remove two bolts (3) and the nuts from clamp assembly (4) that holds the muffler assembly to pipe assembly (6).4. Remove muffler assembly (5) from the mounting bracket and pipe assembly (6). The muffler assembly is a slip fit on the tube assembly. The weight of the muffler assembly is 11 kg (24 lb). Disconnect the muffler drain line, not shown, while removing the muffler. The following steps are for the installation of the muffler group.5. Install the muffler assembly in the pipe assembly (6) and the mounting bracket. The muffler assembly is a slip fit on the pipe assembly. Connect the muffler drain line while installing the muffler.6. Install two bolts (3) and the nuts to clamp assembly (4) that holds the muffler assembly to pipe assembly (6).7. Install four nuts (1) and two U-bolts (2) that hold the muffler assembly to the mounting bracket. Tighten nuts (1) on U-bolts (2) that hold the muffler assembly to the mounting bracket to a torque of 30 7 N m (22 5 lb ft).8. Close the hood assembly.
