D349 ( 32R ) Off-Highway Truck EnginesDescription of Change: A new vent tube and elbow are used on the attachment jacket water aftercooler for the engines listed above. As the cooling system is filled, the vent tube permits air to bleed from the lower lines into the radiator inlet pipe (engine outlet). A new aftercooler outlet elbow, with a threaded hole on the top for a one eighth inch NPTF fitting, is needed to connect the tube.
Location of parts.Adaptable To: All earlier engines equipped with a jacket water aftercooler, when all the new parts are used together.
