Reports from the field indicate that grease is leaking from the fill valve on the track adjuster.Solution
If grease is leaking from the 095-2927 Fill Valve , remove the fill valve and install a new 095-2927 Fill Valve . The leak is caused by contamination that is forced into the fill valve by the grease gun. Make sure that the fill valve and the grease gun are clean before adding grease to the track adjuster.Note: Make sure that the pressure on the track adjuster is released before the fill valve is removed. Refer to the Disassembly and Assembly Manual that is appropriate for your machine.
Grease is under high pressure.Grease coming out of the relief valve under pressure can penetrate the body causing injury or death.Do not watch the relief valve to see if grease is escaping. Watch the track or track adjustment cylinder to see if the track is being loosened.Loosen the relief valve only one turn.
