The AWD system has the following special features:
Aggression control
"Creep" mode
Cold start protection
High temperature protection
Stability control
Steering compensationAggression Control
During manual mode operation, the AWD aggression dial allows the operator to adjust the relationship between the speed of the rear wheels and the speed of the front wheels. When the aggression dial is in the center position, the ratio of the front wheel speed over the rear wheel speed is one to one. When the operator turns the aggression dial clockwise, the ratio of the front wheel speed over the rear wheel speed will increase. This results in an increase of speed of the front wheels over the speed of the rear wheels. The front wheels can be increased to a maximum of 120 percent of the speed of the rear wheels. Likewise, as the operator turns the aggression dial counterclockwise, the ratio of the front wheel speed over the rear wheel speed will decrease. This results in a decrease of speed of the front wheels over the speed of the rear wheels. The front wheels can be decreased to a minimum of 98 percent of the speed of the rear wheels."CREEP" Mode
The "Creep" mode allows the machine to move only by the power of the front wheels. While the machine is in the "Creep" mode, the machine will not move by the power of the rear transmission. The "Creep" mode can be activated when the following conditions are met:
The transmission is in neutral.
The "FNR" is in neutral.
The ground speed is zero.
The parking brake is in the OFF position.
The operator places the AWD control switch in the CREEP position. The operator can move the machine in both the forward direction and reverse direction. The operator must use the "FNR" switch that is located on the left joystick in order to change the direction of the machine in the "Creep" mode.In the "Creep" mode, the operator may adjust the speed of the front wheels. The operator may use the inching pedal in order to adjust the speed of the front wheels. The operator can turn the AWD aggression dial clockwise in order to increase the speed of the front wheels. The front wheels can be increased to a maximum of 8 km/h (5 mph). The operator can turn the aggression dial counterclockwise in order to decrease the speed of the front wheels. The front wheels can be decreased to 0 km/h (0 mph).Cold Start Protection
The cold start protection prevents excessive pressurization of the seals of the motor shaft during start-up in cold temperatures. When the hydraulic oil is less than −9 °C (16 °F) at start-up, the AWD ECM will automatically prevent AWD from engaging until the AWD hydraulic oil temperature increases to −7 °C (19 °F).The
