Implement Software (Implement ECM 3):
A change to the way in which Cat Data Link and J1939 Data Link communication is conducted between control modules in order to help to minimize high data link loading which can result in data link abnormal update rate (FMI 09) diagnostic codes being activated.All Wheel Drive Software (AWD ECM):
Improvement to use an oil temperature compensation strategy in the activation logic for the E568 Unexpected Left Motor Forward Speed Detected, the E569 Unexpected Left Motor Reverse Speed Detected and the E571 Unexpected Left Motor Reverse Speed Detected Events in order to minimize unnecessary activations due to cold hydraulic oil.Monitoring System Display Software Improvements:
The display software supports the following languages: English, Portuguese (Brazil), Spanish, French, German, Dutch (Netherlands), Danish, Finnish, Swedish, Norwegian, Italian, Greek, Hebrew, Turkish, Russian, Arabic, Romanian, Chinese (Simplified), Indonesian (Bahasa), Thai, Vietnamese, Latvian, Polish, and Croatian.
Added display support for the Implement Service Mode that will enable overrides of the individual configured implement lockouts.
Added display support for the "Joystick Grade Control" menu in order to allow display of the Advanced Control Joystick parameters.
Added support for the Advanced Control Joysticks (ACJ) grade control "Cross Slope Favorites" The number of available target favorites is a configurable parameter up to 9 total favorites. This parameter can be accessed from the "Settings" Menu, select "Cross Slope" and then select "Number of Targets". Favorites are only available when using the ACJs.
A change to the display of Machine Articulation Angle degrees. Decimal points are no longer used. Degrees will be displayed as full integers with no decimals.
Improvement to the Cat Grade Control Cross Slope calibrations in order to allow all of the calibration steps to be displayed during the calibration process.The new software is adaptable to and effective in production for the serial number prefixes listed in the Table 4 given below:
