ANNOUNCEMENT
The Caterpillar Remanufactured Products Group announces theexpansion of the turbocharger product line toinclude coverage for 3116 and 3306 GeneratorSet applications.
COVERAGE
The addition of these remanufactured turbochargers providedealers with an additional repair option tosupport 3116 and 3306 engines in generatorset applications. See Table-1 for model coverage and part numberdetails.

CORE ACCEPTANCE
Core Acceptance Criteria for Caterpillar?Remanufactured Turbochargers is simple,visual, and requires no special tools. Fullcore credit is issued when the core is complete, fully assembled, andhas an acceptable part number. Partial credit is available for damaged cores.Consult the Core Acceptance Guide(SELD0028-02) for complete details.
CORE RETURN TIPS
Non-warranty cores should be shipped to Corinth, MS asprescribed in the "Shipping Instruction" sectionof the Caterpillar Remanufactured Product Guide (SELD 0039-01). Warranty turbochargersmust be identified as warranty by attaching a factory claim number and a blueClaims Room tag (Form No. 01-003883). Turbochargercores should be packaged to protect againstdamage in transit.
