Information:
the Fuel Injection Test Bench book, (Form SEHS7466), Special Instruction Form SEHS7465 "Use Of Caterpillar Fuel Injection Test Bench" has a procedure to clean and adjust the 1P1795 Master Valve Assembly. In this procedure, on Page VI-6 of Form SEHS7465, Step 3 shows a test specification tolerance of 1% in delivery from valve to valve.
Factory tests have shown that this tolerance is not practical, because of the master valve design and several other factors. For this reason, the test specification tolerance is changed to 2%. The new tolerance will be shown in the next revision of the Special Instruction form.
