Measure the settings (Z) of both stop bolts (2, 8) for the neutralizer valves. Note the settings. Loosen jam nuts (6, 7) and fully adjust stop bolts (2, 8) away from the neutralizer valves. This will allow the machine to articulate fully to the steering stops.
Start the engine and run the engine at low idle.
Articulate the machine to the right until stop pad (5) contacts the rear frame. Stop the engine.
Measure dimension (X). This dimension should be 570 1.5 mm (22.44 .06 inch).
If dimension (X) is not correct, start the engine and straighten the machine so that the shim thickness can be changed.
Stop the engine and adjust the number of shims (4) under stop pad (5). Adding shims will reduce dimension (X) .
Repeat steps 2 through 6 for the left steering stop (9) .
Set stop bolts (2, 8) to the positions that were measured in step 1.
