Oil leaks from the accessory drives of some 3500 and G3500 Engines have been reported.Solution
Install the parts that are identified in Table 1 and Illustration 1. The parts include thrust washers (6) for the accessory drive in order to reduce the clearance of the shaft. Reducing the clearance will reduce the chance of an oil leak.Follow the instructions in the engine Disassembly and Assembly manual.Note: These parts from the original accessory drive can be reused: bolts (2), adapter (3), pipe plugs (8) and pipe plug (11).
