Hydraulic Tank
Change oil
Take extreme care to insure the cleanliness of the hydraulic oil. Keep hydraulic oil clean to extend component life and assure maximum performance. 1. Remove the drain plug located at the rear of the hydraulic tank.2. After allowing the hydraulic oil to completely drain, replace the drain plug.3. Refill the hydraulic oil tank with clean, filtered hydraulic oil.Fuel Pump Screen
Clean
1. Remove bolt at top of fuel pump. 2. Remove cover. 3. Remove gasket and strainer.4. Clean strainer in diesel fuel.5. Reassemble fuel pump.6. Check to make certain the unit is free of leaks.7. Vent the fuel system.Venting the fuel system.
1. Loosen the overflow valve two to three turns. 2. Pump the priming lever on the fuel pump until fuel, free of air bubbles, emerges from the overflow valve.3. While still pumping priming lever, tighten overflow valve.Fuel Filter
Change element
1. Remove old fuel filter element and discard.2. Clean filter sealing surface.3. Apply a light film of diesel fuel to rubber gasket of the new filter element.4. Screw new element in place by hand until gasket is evenly seated.5. Give element an additional half turn.6. Vent the fuel system.
