1. Remove cover (1), floormat (2) and the floorplate that is under the floormat. 2. Remove four bolts (3). Remove transmission oil filter (4). 3. Disconnect tube assembly (6) from the side of bypass valve (5). Remove bypass valve (5). Make a check of the condition of the seals on the rear of the bypass valve. Make a replacement of the seals if necessary. 4. Put clean SAE 30 oil on the four seals on the rear of bypass valve (5). Put bypass valve (5) in position on dowels (7). 5. Make sure the O-ring seal is in position on the end of tube assembly (6). Put clean SAE 30 oil on the seal. Connect tube assembly (6) to the bypass valve.6. Make sure two O-ring seals (8) are in position on the bypass valve. Put clean SAE 30 oil on the two seals. Install transmission oil filter (4) on the bypass valve.7. Install the floorplate, floormat (2) and cover (1).
