Brake Control
Do not apply the parking/secondary brake while the machine is moving unless an emergency exists. The use of the parking brake as a service brake in regular operation will cause severe damage to the parking brake system.
Parking brake - Push the knob down to apply the brake.Depress the secondary knob to apply the brake.Pull the knob to release the brake.Release the brake before moving the machine. The parking brake is automatically applied when the diesel engine is stopped.Accelerator Handle
Accelerator Handle - Pull the handle up to increase speed engine and push down to reduce the engine speed.The locking of the handle at desired rpm is obtained by turning the handle clockwise.To release the handle, turn it counterclockwise. Depress and hold accelerator handle down until the engine stops.Transmission Controls
Direction Control Lever
Forward (1) - Push the transmission lever forward. The machine will move forward. The machine speed will depend on the lever displacement. Neutral (2) - The machine should not move when lever is in NEUTRAL. Reverse (3) - Pull the transmission lever towards the operator. The machine will move in reverse.
