Brake Control
Do not apply the parking/secondary brake while the machine is moving unless an emergency exists. The use of the parking brake as a service brake in regular operation will cause severe damage to the parking brake system.
Parking brake - Push the knob down to apply the brake.Depress the secondary knob to apply the brake.Pull the knob to release the brake.Release the brake before moving the machine. The parking brake is automatically applied when the diesel engine is stopped.Accelerator Handle
Accelerator Handle - Pull the handle up to increase speed engine and push down to reduce the engine speed.The locking of the handle at desired rpm is obtained by turning the handle clockwise.To release the handle, turn it counterclockwise. Depress and hold accelerator handle down until the engine stops.Transmission Controls
Direction Control Lever
Forward (1) - Push the transmission lever forward. The machine will move forward. The machine speed will depend on the lever displacement. Neutral (2) - The machine should not move when lever is in NEUTRAL. Reverse (3) - Pull the transmission lever towards the operator. The machine will move in reverse. The speed will depend on the lever displacement.Speed Selector
Place the switch in the selected position Working speed - Move to the left. First speed with front/rear differential lock - Move to the middle. Transfer speed - Move to the right.Direction Indicators
Lift the lever (L) left indicatorLower the lever (R) right indicatorHazard Warning Lights
Depress the box cover to activate the hazard lights.Steering Colum Tilting
Lift the latch to RELEASE the steering column. Move the column to the desired position. Release the latch to LOCK the steering column.Machine Warning Horn
Horn button - Depress the horn button to sound the horn. The horn is used to warn or signal personnel.Lights
Highway Lights - Depress the switch for the highway lights. (Place the switch on road light position).Electrical Power Supply
Never turn the disconnect switch off with the engine running.
Disconnect Switch - Insert the key, and turn it to the right, to turn ON the electrical system.Turn the key to the left to turn off the electrical systemRemove the key when leaving the machine. Also, remove it when servicing the electrical system.
