Connect tooling (E) to the service connector.Adjust Procedure
Personal injury or death can result from sudden machine movement.Sudden movement of the machine can cause injury to persons on or near the machine.To prevent injury or death, make sure that the area around the machine is clear of personnel and obstructions before operating the machine.
Start Electronic Technician.
Select the "Machine ECM" from the list of available controls.
Go to the "Configuration" menu.
Select the desired "Machine Speed Limit".
Enter the value that corresponds with the limit that is to be set. Refer to Table 1 for the proper values.Travel Speed Limitation Mode (Reverse Direction)
The following procedure will allow the user to set "Machine Steering Reversed Speed Limit Enable Status" within Cat Electronic Technician. The setting will allow users to limit the machine travel speed to 8 km/h (5 mph) when the machine is rotated into the reverse position area. The reverse position area is located 85 degrees or greater from the center forward position, refer to Illustration 2.

Start Cat Electronic Technician.
Select the "Machine ECM" from the list of available controls.
Go to the "Configuration" menu.

Select the "Machine Steering Reversed Speed Limit Enable Status" to change the status.
