Disconnect hose assembly (37) from solenoid valve (38). Remove bolt (39), the washer, and the clip from the lubrication pump.
Close the door assembly to the lubrication pump.

Open the door assembly on the right side of the hood. The door assembly is in the front of the hood.
Remove nut (40) and the washer that secures cable (41) to the platform. Close the door assembly on the hood.

Remove bolt (42), the washers, and the nut that secures plate assembly (43) to the handhold assemblies on the left side of the platform. Disconnect plate assembly (43) from the handhold assembly on the left side of the platform.
Repeat the procedure for the handhold assemblies on the right side of the platform.

Remove bolt (44), the washers, and the nut that secures plate assembly (45) to the handhold assemblies on the left side of the platform. Disconnect plate assembly (45) from the handhold assembly on the left side of the platform.
Repeat the procedure for the handhold assemblies on the right side of the platform.

Open the two door assemblies on the back of the platform in the center.
Remove clip (46) from wire harness (1). Remove bolt (47) and the washer in order to disconnect the transmission oil filler tube from the platform.
Remove bolt (48) and the washer in order to disconnect the oil gauge tube assembly from the platform.

Remove four bolts (49) and the washers that secure the platform to the engine end frame.
Repeat the procedure for the four bolts on the right side of the engine end frame.

Remove four bolts (50) and the washers that secure the platform to the column assembly on the left side of the hood.
Repeat the procedure for the four bolts and the washers for the column assembly on the right side of the hood.
Close the two door assemblies on the platform.

Attach Tooling (A) to fender assembly (51) on the left side. Position a suitable lifting device to Tooling (A). Secure the suitable lifting device to a hoist.

Remove the bolts, the washers, the mountings, the plated washers, and two nuts (52) that secure fender assembly (51) on the left side to the platform.

Place Tooling (B) under fender assembly (51) on the left side. Lower fender assembly (51) onto Tooling (B) .
Repeat Steps 33, 34, and 35 in order to disconnect the fender assembly on the right side from the platform.

Attach Tool (C) to the front of platform (53). Attach four suitable lifting devices to platform (53). Secure the suitable lifting devices to a hoist. Attach Tool (C) to the hoist.

Remove four bolts (54), the washers, and the nuts that secure platform (53) to bracket assembly (55) .
Repeat the procedure for the four bolts on the right side of the platform.
Remove platform (53) from bracket assembly (55). The weight of platform (53) is 1656 kg (3650 lb).
