ACTION REQUIRED
The parts required for this program should have already been provided to the dealer. If a dealer does not have the parts, have the Dealer Technical Communicator (TC) submit a request for the parts to CPI number 410781 through?CPI Feedback?within the Service Information Management System (SIMSi)
1 - Disconnect power from PETU Cabinet & Remove cabinet side door
2 - Remove end cover from DIN rail and slide on 1 Solid State relay & the new DC power supply. The existing terminals will need to slide over further on the DIN rail. Make sure pins 13 & 14 on relay are on the top side of the DIN Rail.
3 - Replace the end cover back on against the dc power supply on the rail
4 - Run 18 awg high voltage XLPE (300V+) wire (110-8714 ferrules) from open COM terminal to pin N on the ac/dc 5V power supply
5 - Run 18 awg high voltage XLPE (300V+) wire (110-8714 ferrules) from open terminal on PMP terminal to L1 on the ac/dc 5V power supply
6 - Remove backshell from 70 pin ecm J1 connector. Remove wires from ECM J1 pin 5, & 38, & tape off to the side.
7 - You may need to disconnect the ecm connector from the ecm for better access. (#4 metric allen wrench is needed for removal)
8 - Take harness and insert each socket into the ecm connector as marked on the harness wire lead. There will be 2 leads that plug back into 5 & 38.
- Wire A235-F8 BK plugs into J1 pin 5 of ECM
- Wire P904-F13 GN plugs into J1 pin 38 of ECM
9 - Route the harness along the existing harness to the opposite side of the cabinet to the DIN rail where the power supply and relays are mounted. The pump connection will be in the middle portion of the cabinet.
10 - Disconnect the existing PWM pump connector from the pump & plug in the new one on the provided harness. Tie back the old pump connector to the bundle on the bottom of the cabinet to secure it. (Those circuits are not energized)
11 - From the new harness, insert the ferrules on the end of the harness into the power supply and the solid state relays according to the tags. The relay is numbered in the picture below with the pin positions printed on the relays. I would recommend installing the bottom relay connections first for A1+ and A2- positions then the remaining leads
