1. Make sure the bucket is flat on the floor. 2. Remove bolts (1) and nuts that hold the bucket link pins in position. 3. Remove pins (2) from the front link assemblies (3) and bucket. Lower the link assemblies on to the lift arms. If necessary, use tooling (A) to remove pins (2). 4. Remove bolts (4) and nuts that hold the lower bucket pins in position. Put a wooden block under the loader frame so it does not drop when the pins are removed. 5. Remove pins (5) from the lift arms and bucket. If necessary, use tooling (A) to remove pins (5). 6. Fasten a hoist to the bucket. Remove bucket (6). The weight of the bucket is 3075 lb. (1384 kg).Install Bucket
1. Fasten a hoist to the bucket. Put bucket (1) in position on the lift arms. 2. Put 5P960 Multipurpose Type Grease in all pin bores. Put the bores of the bucket in alignment with the bores of the lift arms. Put pins (2) and washers in position in the bucket and lift arms. Use tool (A) and a hammer to install the pins. Install the bolts and nuts through the bucket and pins to hold the pins in position. Use washers as necessary between the lift arms and bucket bosses. The same amount of washers on each side is not necessary. 3. Put the bores of front link assemblies (3) in alignment with the bores of the bucket. Put pins (4) in position in the bucket and link assemblies. Use tool (A) and a hammer to install the pins. Install the bolts and nuts through the bucket and pins to hold the pins in position.
