1. Drain oil from the hydraulic tank until the oil level is down to the "ADD" mark on the tank. Install tooling (A) on the hydraulic oil tank and connect an air hose to tooling (A) and put the tank under a vacuum. 2. Disconnect pump inlet line (1) and pump outlet line (4) from the cushion hitch pump (2). Put plugs in the lines.3. Remove two nuts (3) and the cushion hitch pump from the transfer gear case.Install Cushion Hitch Pump
1. Put cushion hitch pump (1) in position on the transfer gear case and install the two nuts that hold it. 2. Connect pump outlet line (3) and pump inlet line (2) to the cushion hitch pump.3. Remove tooling (A) from the hydraulic tank and fill the hydraulic tank to the correct oil level.Disassemble Cushion Hitch Pump
start by:a) remove cushion hitch pump1. Put marks on the pump cover and body so the pump will be assembled correctly. 2. Remove bolts (1) and cover (2) from the pump. Remove the O-ring seal from the back of the cover. 3. Use tool (A) to remove snap ring (3) from the cover. Remove seal (4) from the cover. 4. Pull up on drive gear (5) and remove the two bushings.
