Rework Procedure
Park the machine on level ground. Apply the parking brake when you stop the engine.
Turn off the battery disconnect switch.
Tilt the cab. You can get to the isolation mounts that are under the cab. For instructions on tilting the cab, refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual.

You should make the slots for the mounting bolts bigger. The slots are located on the bottom side of the cab. Use the dimensions 18 mm (0.70 inch) by 32 mm (1.26 inch). Only the front two mounts need to be enlarged.

Disconnect the wiring harness (B) from the frame. Disconnect the ground strap (B) from the frame.

Place a straight edge across the center of both of the existing holes (C) for the mounting bracket. Mark the centerline of the mounting hole on each side of the frame as shown in illustration 3. Remove the two brackets from the frame.

You should use the marks in step 6 in order to locate the brackets (1). The marks on the frame should be in line with the center of each hole for the mounting bracket. You should reference the dimensions in illustration 4.
On previously produced machines, you may be required to relocate the stud. You should relocate the stud below the mount on the left front side of the machine. You might be required to move the stud forward 50 mm (1.96 inch) from the front of the machine. You should reference illustration 4. This will eliminate any interference with the new rubber isolation mounts.

On the CP/CS-400 machines, the two rear cab supports must be reworked. You should reference the dimensions in illustration 5. This must be done in order to install the new isolation mounts.

On the CP/CS-500 machines, the two rear support brackets for the cab must be reworked. You should reference the dimensions in illustration 6. This must be done in order to install the new isolation mounts.

On the CP/CS-500 machines, use hardware (11) in order to attach the plates (12) to the rear frame supports.

(A) Rear Mount Assembly (B) Front Mount Assembly
Use hardware (2) in order to attach the four mounts (3) to the front and rear support brackets on the frame.
Install hardware (4) in the rear mounts. Install washer (5) in the rear mounts. Install nut (6) in the rear mounts. Tighten the nuts (6) .
Lower the cab.
Install spacer (7) on the rear mount assemblies. Install hardware (8) on the rear mount assemblies. Do not tighten.
Align the front mounts with the holes in the cab. You should use hardware (9) and hardware (10 ) in order to secure the front mounts to the cab.
Tighten hardware (8) and tighten hardware (10) .
Park the machine on level ground. Apply the parking brake when you stop the engine.
