The charge oil for the propel system is supplied by charge pump (4).

The charge oil flows through filter (8). Then oil flows to shift valve (5) .The oil flows through the charge filter to propel pump (6). The oil then flows to the vibratory pump, and back to the tank.The oil also flows to shift valve (5) and back to the tank.The flow from the propel pumps is controlled by the propel control lever on operator console (3) .Oil flows from the propel pumps to axle propel motor (9) and flows to drum propel motor (7).

Axle propel motor (9) is bolted to the front of the drive axle. The axle propel motor receives oil from the axle propel pump. Power is transmitted from the motor to the rear axle.

Drum propel motor (7) is bolted to the final drive for the drum. The drum propel motor receives oil from the drum propel pump. Power is transmitted from the motor to the front drum.
