6. Action required, if hose date code is between 27-Jul-15-6 through 31-Oct-15-6, or, or if the date code cannot be located, the hoses should be replaced. Please use Rework Procedure provided below.
7. If the date code is outside 27-Jul-15-6 through 31-Oct-15-6 no further action is required.
Rework Procedure:
1. Position the machine on firm level ground, engage the park brake and
isolate machine.
2. Install steering frame lock, refer to SEBU9222, Operation and Maintenance Manual, for additional information.
3. Release the hydraulic system pressure, refer to SEBU9222, Operation and Maintenance Manual, "System Pressure - Release", for additional information.
4. Drain the hydraulic tank. Refer to SEBU9222, Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic Oil System - Change". Or, use plug vacuum assembly or similar to prevent oil leakage. Refer to NENG2500, Dealer Service Tool Catalog, "Tools for Minimizing Oil Loss During Hydraulic System Disassembly".
5. Remove the rear fenders and side cover plates on both sides. Refer to Image2.15.1.

6. Remove the cab. Refer to UENR6753, Disassembly and Assembly, "Cab ? Remove and Install", and place in a safe area.
7. Undo bottom multi hose clamp. Refer to Image2.17.1.

8. Disconnect the hystat hoses from the hystat motor. Plug the motor to prevent contamination. Refer to Image2.18.1.

9. Disconnect the hystat hoses from the hystat pump. Plug the pump to prevent contamination. Refer to Image2.19.1.

10. Remove cable ties, as required, on sleeving.
11. Remove hoses from the machine.
12. Install new hoses, along with sleeving, and new 6V-9746 Seals, then tighten to a specified torque of 140 +/- 21 N.m. Refer to Image2.22.1.

13. Install cable ties to secure hose sleeving. Refer to Image2.23.1.

14. Tighten the bottom multi hose clamp nuts to a specified torque of 55 +/- 10 N.m. Refer back to Image2.17.1.
15. Re-install the cab. Refer to UENR6753, Disassembly and Assembly, "Cab ? Remove and Install".
16. Re-install the side covers and rear fenders. Refer back to Image2.15.1.
17. Refill machine with 70 liters of bulk hydraulic oil. Refer to SEBU9222, Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Procedure for Changing the Hydraulic Oil".
18. Remove the steering frame lock.
19. Cycle the machine to flush air from the hydraulic system, check oil level, and top up as required.
