Schematic of the Rocker Switch (Ride Control)
This diagnostic code is associated with the Rocker Switch (Ride Control). The switch is connected to two inputs of the ECM. Both contacts are closed when the switch is in the OFF position. Wire G766-GN(Green) is open and wire G767-WH(White) is closed, when the ride control switch is in the ON position. Wire G767-WH(White) is open and wire G766-GN(Green) is closed, when the ride control switch is in the AUTO position. Refer to table 1.

AUTO Up Closed Open This FMI 03 means that the ECM has determined that both contacts are open.Note: The following test procedure may create other diagnostic codes. Ignore these diagnostic codes and clear the diagnostic codes when the original diagnostic code has been corrected. Ensure that the diagnostic code of CID 0367 FMI 03 is active before performing this procedure.Test Step 1. INSPECT THE HARNESS CONNECTIONS.
Turn the disconnect switch and the key start switch to the OFF position.
Inspect all harness connections that are associated with the Rocker Switch (Ride Control). Make sure that the connectors are clean and tight.
Check the connectors for proper mating.
Check the wires at the connectors.
Check each wire for nicks or signs of abrasion in the insulation.
Check for moisture at the connectors.
Check the connectors for dirty contacts or corroded contacts.
Check each pin and each socket of the machine harness connectors. Expected Result:The machine harness connectors are tight and free of corrosion. Results:
OK - The machine harness connectors are tight and free of corrosion. Proceed to test step 2.
NOT OK - The machine harness connectors are in need of repair.Repair: Repair the machine harness or replace the machine harness.STOPTest Step 2. CHECK THE SWITCH CIRCUITS IN THE HARNESS
The disconnect switch and the key start switch remain in the OFF position.
Disconnect the machine harness connectors from the ECM and the switch.
At the harness connector for the switch, connect a jumper wire between contact 3 (wire G766-GN(Green)) and contact 4 (wire G767-WH(White)).
At the harness connector for the ECM, measure the resistance from contact J1-22 (wire G767-WH(White)) to contact J1-21 (wire G766-GN(Green)). Expected Result:The resistance is less than 5 ohms.Results:
OK - The resistance is less than 5 ohms. Proceed to Test Step 3.
NOT OK - The resistance is greater than 5000 ohms. The circuit is open.Repair: The machine harness has failed. Repair the machine harness or replace the machine harness.STOPTest Step 3. CHECK THE GROUND CIRCUIT OF THE SWITCH
The disconnect switch and the key start switch remain in the OFF position.
The machine harness connectors remain disconnected from the ECM and the switch.
Remove the jumper that was installed in the previous Test Step.
Measure the resistance between contact 2 (wire 202-BK(Black)) of the machine harness for the switch to frame ground. Note the resistance.
Measure the resistance between contact 5 (wire 202-BK(Black)) of the machine harness for the switch to frame ground. Note the resistance. Expected Result:The resistance for each
