When you are using hydraulic cylinders and puller studs, always ensure that the rated capacity of the puller stud meets or exceeds the rated capacity of the hydraulic cylinder. If the puller stud does not meet or exceed the rated capacity of the hydraulic cylinder, a sudden failure of the puller stud could occur. The sudden failure of the puller stud could result in personal injury or death.

Position the counterweight frame into the stored position. Install locking bolt (1).

Remove bolts (4) and plate (5).
Attach Tooling (A) onto pin (3).Attach a suitable lifting device to link (2). The weight of link (2) is approximately 76 kg (168 lb).
Use Tooling (A) in order to remove pin (3).

Attach Tooling (B) to link (2). Use Tooling (B) to secure link (2).
Repeat Steps 2 through 5 for the opposite side.

Attach a suitable lifting device to counterweight frame (6). The weight of counterweight frame (6) is approximately 1300 kg (2866 lb).

Remove bolts (7), plate (8), and pin (6).
Repeat Step 8 for the opposite side. Remove counterweight frame (5).

Attach a suitable lifting device to frame assembly (9). The weight of frame assembly (9) is approximately 700 kg (1543 lb). Remove locking bolt (10).

Remove bolts (11) and plate (12). Attach Tooling (A) onto pin (13).
Attach a suitable lifting device to counterweight cylinder (14). The weight of counterweight cylinder (14) is approximately 50 kg (110 lb).
Use Tooling (A) in order to remove pin (13). Reposition counterweight cylinder (14) out of the way.
Repeat Steps 11 through 13 for the opposite side.

Remove bolts (15), plate (16), and pin (17).
Repeat Step 15 for the opposite side. Remove frame assembly (9).

Use Tooling (C) in order to remove retaining ring (18).
Use Tooling (D) in order to remove bearing (19).
Repeat Steps 17 and 18 for the remaining bearings.

Attach a suitable lifting device to counterweight cylinder (14). The weight of counterweight cylinder (14) is approximately 60 kg (132 lb).
Disconnect hose assemblies (20 ) and (21).

Remove bolts (22) and plate (24).
Attach Tooling (A) onto pin (23).Use Tooling (A) in order to remove pin (23). Remove cylinder (14).
Repeat Steps 20 through 23 for the opposite side.

Use Tooling (E) in order to remove bearings (25) and spacers (26).
Repeat Step 25 for the other end of link (4).
Repeat Steps 25 and Step 26 for the remaining link. Installation Procedure
Install counterweight frame (6) in the reverse order of removal.
