This procedure is used to test and adjust the transmission neutralizer switch.Test Preparation
Without Service Brake Pressure Gauges
Move the machine to a hard, level surface.
Engage the parking brake and stop the engine.
Install the steering frame lock.
Release the braking system oil pressure.Reference: Refer to Systems Operation, Testing and Adjusting, "System Pressure - Release" for the machine that is being serviced.Test Procedure
Without Service Brake Pressure Gauges

Location of test port for the left side service brake on the front axle
(1) Plug
Remove plug (1) from the test port for the service brake marked "S". Install Tooling (F) into test the port marked "S".
Connect Tooling (B) to Tooling (F).
Purge the air from the braking system.Reference: Refer to Systems Operation, Testing and Adjusting, "Braking System Air - Purge" for the machine that is being serviced.

(5) Receptacle assembly
Disconnect receptacle assembly (5) from the machine wiring harness.
Connect an ohmmeter (or continuity tester) to Pin 1 and Pin 4 of receptacle assembly (5). With pedal (2) in the retracted position (fully released), the ohmmeter should indicate a closed circuit condition.
Start the engine and allow the hydraulic oil to reach normal operating temperature.
