Installation Procedure

Attach a hoist to the engine front support. Install the engine front support onto the cradles on the side rails of the frame. The weight of the engine front support is approximately 260 kg (573 lb).
Install sleeve (16) on the engine front support. Install two mount assemblies (15) .

Install the washers, the nuts, and the two bolts that connect engine front support (14) to the frame.

Attach a suitable lifting device to the front engine lifting eye. Lower the front of the engine onto the engine front support. The weight of the engine is approximately 8875 kg (19566 lb). Install the bolts (13) and the bracket.
The bracket must be installed before the truck is returned to service. The turbochargers could be damaged if the truck is returned to service before the installation of the bracket.

Install the fitting on the bracket. Connect hose assembly (12) to the bracket.

Install the washers, the nuts, and bolts (11) that fasten the trunnion to the engine front support.

Tighten the clamps on two hoses (10) .

Tighten the clamps on hose (9) .

Install the bolts that hold electrical box (7) to the engine front support.
Connect ground strap (6) to the engine front support.
Install the four hose assemblies (5). There are two hoses (5) for each hose (4) .
Move two hoses (4) upward. Tighten the clamps.

Install tube (3) .

Install bracket (2) of the fan guard.
Install tubes (1). Tighten the hose clamps.
Fill the system with coolant. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant (ELC) - Change" for the correct capacities and for the correct procedures.End By: Remove the truck body retaining cable. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Truck Body Retaining Cable - Remove and Install".
