Pin (45) holds spring (49) under compression.
26. Use a 1 inch six point, deep well socket (47) as shown, and remove pin (45), retainer (48), spring (49) and retainer (50) from the lift control valve spool. Remove 1/43/4 in x in bolt (44) from pin (45). 27. Remove plug (51), spring (53) and check valve (54) from the lift control valve body. Remove O-ring seal (52). 28. Disassemble check valve (54) as follows:a. Remove nut (55) from shaft (60).b. Remove piston (58) from shaft (60).c. Remove O-ring seal (56) and ring (57) from piston (58).d. Remove O-ring seal (59). 29. Remove angle control valve (61) from rods.30. Repeat steps 7 thru 13 for angle control valve. 31. Remove three rods (63) from outlet housing (62).Assemble Hydraulic Control Valves
1. Make sure all the parts of the hydraulic control valve are clean. Put clean oil on all of the parts of the valve. Inspect all the parts for damage and make replacements if needed. 2. Install rods (63) in the outlet housing (62). 3. Install seal (28), spring (27) and seat (26) on angle control valve spool (23).
Be extra careful not to cause damage to the valve spool surface.
4. Put the flat end of angle control valve spool (23) in a vise and install screw (25) with a drag-link socket (24). 5. Install plate (26), wiper seal (25) and O-ring (24) on angle control valve spool (23). Install the wiper seal with the lip toward the plate. 6. Install angle control valve spool (23) into angle control valve body. 7. Put cap (22) in position and install two bolts that hold it in place. 8. Install O-ring, wiper seal, and plate (21) for the angle control valve spool. Install wiper seal with the lip toward plate (21). 9. Install poppet valve and spring (20) and install O-ring (19). 10. Install angle control valve (61) on rods as shown. 11. Assemble the check valve as follows:a. Install O-ring seal (59) and piston (58) on shaft (60).b. Install ring (57) and O-ring seal (56) on piston (58).c. Install nut (55). 12. Install O-ring seal (52) on plug (51). Install check valve (54), spring (53), and plug (51) in the hoist control valve body.
Be extra careful not to cause damage to the valve spool surface.
13. Put the flat end of the hoist control valve spool in a vise. Install retainer (50), spring (49) and retainer (48) on hoist control valve spool (36).14. Use a screwdriver as shown and install pin (45) in the end of the hoist control valve spool. 15. Install a 1/43/4 in x in bolt (44) and nut in pin (45). Use a 1 inch six point deep-well socket (47) and tighten pin (45). Remove 1/43/4 in x in bolt (44). 16. Install spring (43) in pin. 17. Push spring (43) down and install a piece of 1.52 mm (.060 in) wire (64) as shown through the pin to hold the spring in place.18. Install ball (65) in the pin.
