Checking the Nitrogen Charge Pressure
Note: Perform the following steps on the brake accumulators for the service brakes and the parking brakes.

Remove cap (1) from the top of the accumulator.

Note: Use caution when you loosen the screw in the charging valve.
Insert the 6 mm Allen wrench from Tool (A) into the screw in the charging valve. Loosen the screw by 1/6 of a turn. Only, turn the allen wrench far enough in order to loosen the screw. Opening the screw will cause the nitrogen charge to escape.

This is a view of the adapter that is used for charging.
Install the adapter from Tool (A) on the charging valve of the brake accumulator.

Purge valve handleNote: Ensure that the purge valve is closed in order to prevent nitrogen from being released from the accumulator.

Tee handle
Turn the larger tee handle on the nitrogen charging adapter clockwise in order
