Information:
In order to avoid the build up of hazardous live voltages on the exposed surfaces, all grounding wires must be properly connected at all times during engine operation.Any disconnected grounding wires (including the grounding bond wires, the conductor shield wires, the power inverter grounding straps and the component housing grounding straps) must be properly reconnected before the engine is started.Failure to follow these instructions could result in personal injury or death.
Perform the Safe Shutdown Procedure This procedure must be performed before the machine is serviced to ensure that Power Train System voltage and Accessory System voltage is at a low voltage level. Refer to the Troubleshooting "Electrical Maintenance Guidelines". Perform the "Safe Shutdown Procedure" before proceeding with this procedure.Expected Result - When the disconnect switch is turned OFF and ON, the amber Hazardous Voltage System Energized Indicator will illuminate and the indicator will turn OFF. The indicator shows that the operation of the lamp is correct.OK - The Safe Shutdown Procedure for Electric Drive Tractors has been performed. The Hazardous Voltage Present Lamp and the Monitoring System Display indicate that the DC system voltage has been properly discharged. The Power Train system and the Accessory Power system for the machine can now be serviced.
Disable the Starter Motor A. The key switch and the battery disconnect switch remain in the OFF position.B. Disable the starter motor by disconnecting the two wire start relay control circuit connector from the starter motor connector.C. Turn the battery disconnect to the ON position.D. Turn the key switch to the START position. Starter motor should not engage.E. Turn the key switch and battery disconnect to the OFF position.OK - The starter motor has been disabled. The engine cannot start. Proceed to step 3.

Remove the shield wire nut (1), top cover (2), and bolts (3) for front cover. Note: Measure the voltage between each of the 3- phase conductors and frame ground after the enclosure cover is removed. Do not make personal contact with the exposed contacts until you have verified that there is little or no voltage present at the exposed conductors. Verify little or no voltage (50 VDC or less) is present before any contact is made with the conductors.

Check the compartment for moisture, oil, and coolant. Check for proper cable installation to the inverter lugs. If the terminal ends are not squarely seated on the lugs, loosening will occur over time. Remove nuts (4) and cable assembly (5). Test Procedure
Connect the negative probe. Refer to Table 77.
Connect the positive probe. Refer to Table 77.
Verify that all personnel are not in contact with the conductor being tested.
Verify that the exposed ends of the conductor are not in contact with any other conducting surfaces.
Turn on the Inductance (LCR) Tester. Ensure the meter is in Auto Range mode (6) and set to 1kHz measurement frequency (7). The tester should automatically change to "L" inductance measurement (8) when connected between two stator phase cables. If the tester does not, press the ZLCR button (9) until
