1. Attach chains and a suitable lifting device to spacer tube (1). 2. Remove ten bolts (3) and washers, each side. Tighten to a torque of 750 N m (550 lb ft).3. Remove spacer tube (1) and shims, not shown. At assembly, the spacer tube shims are divided equally on each side of spacer tube (1).4. Attach clevis and a suitable lifting device to chain case (4).5. Remove eight bolts (2) and washers from the axle hub.6. Remove chain case (4). For installation of the chain case, reverse the removal steps with the following exceptions: 7. Install spacer tube (1) with two bolts (3) and washers, each side.8. Make sure housing (5) and stub shaft (6) are level.9. Install remaining bolts (3) and tighten to a torque of 750 N m (550 lb ft).End By:a. Install rotor drive axle.b. Install rotor chain.c. Install rotor drum.d. Install rotor hood.
