PROBLEM
The 8W-2823 Spring that is used in decelerator pedal group can fail on certain D6K2 Track-Type Tractors. In the event of failure, the decelerator pedal will stay down and not return to the up position. The existing spring must be replaced by a new improved part number.

Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, M0066516, "Decelerator and Brake Control - Assemble" to remove panels and gain access to pedal assembly.
