Heat bearing (11) to a temperature of 77 °C (170 °F). Install bearing (11) on swing link (7) .

Note: Duo-Cone seals require particular attention. Follow the installation procedure and be sure that all parts are cleaned properly.
Use tooling (A) to install Duo-Cone seal (10) into hub (7). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, RENR1789, "Duo-Cone Conventional Seals - Install" for the correct installation procedure.

Use tooling (B) to install bearing cup (9) into idler hub (3). Turn over idler hub (3) and repeat this procedure on the remaining bearing cup.

Use tooling (A) to install Duo-Cone seal (8) into idler hub (3). Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, RENR1789, "Duo-Cone Conventional Seals - Install" for the correct installation procedure.

Use two people to install idler hub (3). Bearing (11) (not shown) is on the swing link (7). Install bearing (6) and retainer (5). Install three bolts and washers (4) .

Apply 6V-6640 Gasket Maker to the idler hub (3). Install cover assembly (2) onto idler hub (3). Install 6 bolts and washers (1).
Remove plug (12) and fill each hub with 0.35 L (0.3698 qt) oil after assembly. Oil level should be maintained at the plug (12) level.,, End By:
Install the belt. Refer to Disassembly and AssemblyRENR1789, "Belt - Remove and Install" for the machine that is being serviced.
Install the counterweights. Refer to Disassembly and AssemblyRENR1789, "Counterweight Idler - move and Install" for the machine that is being serviced.
